Daron Anderson - Elder

In your own words describe what you do at Harvest.

I have the privilege of serving as an Elder, Small Groups Coach, and Small Group Leader. And, I am currently helping to lead the efforts to find our church's next home.

Why were you interested in serving as an Elder at Harvest?

I’m convinced that there’s nothing greater than serving the Most High God through His church. Also, I thoroughly enjoy pursuing our disciple-making mission as a team with Pastor Scott, Mark Retzlaff and our entire church family.

What experience, education, and/or work background do you bring with you to Harvest?

Probably my most important experience was when I surrendered my life to Christ in college. Other complementary experience includes being a part of leadership teams in several church plants. Professionally, I’ve worked in real estate development for over 20 years. My formal education includes a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Real Estate) and a Master’s degree in Human Resources and Organizational Development.

What are you most passionate about when it comes to ministry?

Shortly after becoming a Jesus-follower I was captured by Paul’s encouragement to be an “ambassador for Christ” in 2 Corinthians 5:20. For me, I get fired-up about applying that verse in the workplace and in support of the local church through small groups.

What is one thing someone would be surprised to know about you?

I’m a cancer survivor

What is your favorite sport, or sports team?

I love soccer. Arsenal and Barcelona are my favorite teams.
